2022 Beneficiary:
Knead Community Café is a unique gathering place that nourishes both body and soul. Offering meals that are pay-what-you-can/pay-it-forward, we provide fresh, wholesome food that is seasoned with love, where all are welcome.
We like the play on words with our name that it is helping to serve a need in the community. Also, we associate the word kneading with bread, and as Christians we acknowledge Jesus as the Bread of Life. Our hope is to honor His teachings by loving thy neighbor one meal at a time.
Community Café located in downtown New Kensington is committed to serving healthy dining options using fresh, local, and minimally processed ingredients as much as possible. We believe that all patrons are entitled to enjoy nutritious food and be treated with dignity regardless of their ability to pay.

Each year, the OWO committee selects a new Pittsburgh-based charity. We do our best to raise money and awareness for local causes we believe in by hosting a golf tournament they'll never forget. Over the past 14 years we have raised over $220,000!
